We’re therefore delighted to announce five internal promotions. These are staff who have demonstrated enthusiasm, passion and technical excellence on every project they have delivered and are ready for even more challenge and responsibility.
Simon Kirby has been promoted to Principal Consultant in our Airports & Airspace Team.
Simon has become a true expert in CAP 1616 Airspace Change Proposal (ACP) projects. He is delivering a number of complex and challenging ACP’s, including the project that is currently furthest through the CAP 1616 process; he is therefore genuinely leading the field.
Craig Blackwell has been promoted to Principal Consultant in our Platforms & Air Systems Team.
Over the past year, Craig has delivered exceptional technical and safety management expertise to a UK Ministry of Defence Special Projects Delivery Team where he has provided Independent Safety Auditor (ISA) support, and has been leading the Apache Type Airworthiness Safety Assessment (TASA) development with excellent feedback from our clients.
Gavin Jones has been promoted to Principal Consultant in our Air Traffic Management (ATM) Systems Team.
Gavin has led a number of radar and ATM Systems safety assurance projects in the UK and overseas, resulting in excellent feedback from our clients. He has also identified business development activities that have delivered both new opportunities and an increase in scope.
Barnaby Green has been promoted to Senior Consultant in our Platforms & Air Systems Team.
Barnaby has performed to an outstanding level over the past year in a range of areas from air system certification through to safety engineering. He has contributed significantly to a number of technically advanced projects including Thales Crowsnest, Apache Certification and Maritime (ATM) support to the Royal Navy’s surface fleet.
Dan Arden has been promoted to Consultant in our Platforms & Air Systems Team.
Since joining Osprey from university, Dan has been tasked with a diverse range of projects to give him exposure to a wide variety of engineering and safety assurance disciplines. His recent work on the RTM 322 certification analysis was excellent and demonstrated that he excels in the technical aspects of consultancy.
