The team at Osprey were outstanding in their approach to our project and throughout the timeline the team were fully supportive with their communication and interaction.

The output from the team proved to me that they deliver high quality pieces of work.

Many thanks to the Osprey team for developing and delivering the recent ATM Safety Awareness and ATM Safety Practitioners courses for Cobham.  The feedback from my team has been extremely positive.  Everyone enjoyed the training and felt that they could apply the learning across many of our current programmes.  The extensive ATM & Safety experience and expertise of the Osprey course tutors was very apparent, which contributed to the overall success of the training.

To help find an acceptable interim mitigation for a proposed Wind Farm, LSA approached Osprey as recognised leaders in Wind Turbine Mitigation methods. As part of their remit Osprey reviewed the potential capabilities of the local radar as well as other mitigation technologies in relation to the anticipated turbine effects and our Operational Requirement. Based on their assessment of the available solutions, the local airspace environment and the demanding project timescales, the use of a Non Automatic Initiation Zone (NAIZ) was proposed.

Osprey subsequently developed the Radar Sensor Safety Case to include the NAIZ and supported LSA through the subsequent discussions with CAA SARG. As a result of these discussions the NAIZ was accepted into operational service prior to turbine operation.

The solution has subsequently worked well and has proven itself to be the right decision for the mitigation of the Wind Farm.

I would readily recommend Osprey to any ANSP seeking supportive and informed assistance in establishing mitigation of Wind Turbines on Approach Radars.
