Look out for us at the Royal Aeronautical Society seminar ‘A Risk Based Approach to RPAS Operations’.
Nigel Hewitt will deliver a presentation jointly with Airbus Defence & Space on our risk based approach to High Altitude Pseudo Satellite (HAPS) operations. We’ll explain our strategy and approach to the safe integration of the Zephyr-S system into airspace across numerous Flight Information Regions in each mission.
We will also explain the challenges and outcome of our work to date, and explore how taking an innovative approach to the use of existing regulation and policies, in concert with well-established safety techniques, and a risk based approach can achieve a successful outcome.
The Osprey team will also be available during the networking breaks to talk about our latest UAS/RPAS projects, including how we’re working with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to influence European and International policy direction for Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS).
What sets Osprey apart in this rapidly evolving market is our ability to provide UAS consultancy services across the entire aviation spectrum. From air traffic management, national and international policy and regulation, airworthiness, through to safety management and safety case assessment, we have the through life and pan functional area expertise to fulfil and support all the requirements of the UAS environment.
We look forward to seeing you there!
