The Osprey team is presenting and exhibiting at ESAS 2018 on 18th and 19th September at the Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) Headquarters at Abbey Wood in Bristol.
The Environmental and Safety Assurance Symposium (ESAS) is the MOD’s flagship event focusing on Equipment Safety and Environmental Management. This year the theme will be based upon ‘Disruptive World Challenges’ – agility in Defence safety and environmental decision making.
Osprey has been selected to deliver two presentations on Day One of the Symposium:
Nigel Hewitt, Principal Consultant will discuss ‘The risks involved in managing drone operations’. His presentation will explore emerging European drone regulations and how they diverge from conventional manned aviation.
Nicole Saunders, Senior Consultant will focus on ‘Optimising organisational resilience by instilling a just culture’. Taking examples from recent Defence Accident Investigations, and drawing parallels to investigations from other sectors, Nicole’s presentation asserts that a just culture approach is good for any organisation, and represents a good organisational culture – which is all the more important in high-reliability, high-consequence organisations.
Within the Exhibition Hall, our wider team will also be available to talk about our latest projects and opportunities, and to discuss your safety and environmental challenges.
We look forward to seeing you there!
