Having joined the business as Osprey’s Delivery Director, Gareth was appointed Co-Managing Director of Science Group’s Defence and Air businesses; TPG Services and Osprey CSL in late 2024. Gareth’s experience leading defence and aviation consultancies that offer distinctive technical services to civilian, government and defence organisations will be fundamental to the division’s growth plans.
Gareth has a wealth of senior leadership experience gained in technical and business management roles for a range of defence, aerospace and civil transport businesses. His last two roles were managing director at Techmodal Ltd, a Bristol based, data science consultancy (now a part of BAE Systems) and Overwatch Aerospace, a military UAV start up where he managed their business scale up adding a product development teams and process to a rapidly expanding business.
There is a high level of synergy between Osprey CSL and TP Group, both are at a pivotal stage of development with opportunities to grow and extend their operations. Gareth’s experience, knowledge and leadership is vital in delivering high levels of service while increasing capacity and making inroads to new domains. He will also work with the team to leverage specialist skills from the wider network of Science Group companies to meet customers’ specific technical and advisory needs.
