We’re proud to announce that Alice Thurlow, Finance Director has been selected as a finalist in this year’s Women in Business Awards. These awards encourage and inspire successful and aspiring business women in the south, and celebrate organisations and individuals across all sectors of business who have excelled in their profession.
Alice has been shortlisted for the ‘Career-break Returner of the Year’ award, which recognises individuals who have returned to the workplace and have achieved excellence in their role in the first 12 months of returning.
Alice’s Story
Osprey was looking for a Chartered Accountant to support a surge in our growth. We were keen to ensure that the candidate had the right level of skills as well as extensive experience in a senior position and a solid track record.
Alice joined the company in February 2016 and quickly became an integral part of the team. Her experience enabled her to ‘hit the ground running’ and add immediate value to our financial processes, reporting mechanisms and internal controls. Since then Alice has been promoted to Finance Director and is now a member of the Osprey Board – her role has changed beyond recognition in such a short period of time.
Winners
We are now waiting eagerly for the awards ceremony at Oakley Hall in Basingstoke on 21st September ’17. Best of luck to all the other finalists.
We’re keeping our fingers crossed for Alice!
