Osprey wins new contract with the MAA to conduct an ATM gap analysis study

Scroll

Osprey is pleased to announce the award of a new contract by the Military Aviation Authority (MAA) for the development and provision of Technical Support to the MAA’s International Air Traffic Management (ATM) Regulatory Gap Analysis.

Osprey will undertake a detailed gap analysis study that compares current Air Traffic Management (ATM) MAA Regulatory Publications (MRP) with those of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Civil Aviation Publications (CAPs) and NATO Standardisation Agreements (STANAGs) in order to gain an understanding of how and where the MOD can enhance ATM regulatory material.

The findings of the study will highlight areas where updates to ATM MRP are required, and will ultimately ensure coherence between the MOD and other regulatory bodies.

Rich Connelly, Director Operations said “Osprey is ideally placed to provide an unbiased assessment of the applicability of the full range of ATM regulations to the Authority.  We offer extensive safety and airworthiness expertise through an exceptional team drawn from both defence and civil aviation. The requirement demands detailed knowledge of military and civil aviation regulations which is core to our business, however our real strength will be demonstrated in our ability to determine the applicability of our findings to the military operational environment.”
