We are delighted to welcome Richard Connelly to Osprey, who from our Bentley office, will be responsible for the management of the Operations team.
Rich joins us after 27 years in the Royal Air Force, where he was an air traffic controller working at numerous airfields, both area radar centres and as an instructor and examiner. There have also been diversions for him into personnel management, contract management and operational tours; which most recently included counter narcotics operations in Afghanistan.
Rich has just completed a 3 year secondment to the CAA where he was initially Assistant Director of Airspace Policy 2 and more recently Deputy Head of Intelligence, Strategy and Policy in the newly formed Safety and Airspace Regulation Group. From a military perspective he was also Deputy Head of the Defence Airspace and Air Traffic Management organisation which is responsible for military airspace and air traffic management policy.
