We are delighted to welcome Phil Cooke to Osprey. Phil is an experienced and highly trained safety engineer and joins us following 26 years’ service in the Royal Air Force.
Most recently Phil worked as the lead safety engineer on Marshall, the £1.5 billion MOD programme to identify and evaluate options for the future delivery of military Air Traffic Management (ATM) capability. During his RAF career, he was accountable for the regulation, engineering and operational Safety Policy across all Royal Air Force Air Traffic Management business areas and developed the safety plan and safety management manual. Phil also developed procedures and policy documentation to encompass wider operational business areas including National Air Defence and Space Operations.
Mike Spencer, Engineering Director at Osprey said “It’s great to welcome Phil to the team. His skills and experience align perfectly with our Defence business and our plans for growth. He will be an extremely valuable addition to the Osprey team that are currently progressing the delivery of the ATM service provision for Marshall, and for all of the safety-related projects that we are delivering for the MOD.”
Phil will be based in our Bristol office which is located in close proximity to MOD DE&S Headquarters at Abbey Wood.
