We are delighted to welcome Liam Clarke, Sam Shuttlewood and Chris Latus. Together, they form our new Instrument Flight Procedure (IFP) Design Team based at our new office in Northallerton.
This is part of Osprey’s ongoing growth programme, and a natural extension to our expanding airspace portfolio. We have already made great strides towards becoming a CAA approved Instrument Flight Procedure Design organisation, and further information on our progress will be available over the coming weeks.
We are currently working with some of our airport clients on their 5-yearly IFP Reviews, as mandated by ICAO. We are ensuring that existing published IFP’s continue to meet current needs, and will continue to do so for the next 5 years. Our ultimate aim will always be to ensure that the published IFP’s offer the best and most effective solutions for both the airport and their end users.
As well as developing our own capability, we are continuing to engage and work with other design organisations. This will allow us to offer an agile service and the ability to flex our resources to meet demand.
Jon Arden, Managing Director at Osprey said “I am delighted to welcome Liam, Sam and Chris to Osprey. The opportunity to recruit an entire team from another company is rare and one that we could not turn down. This means a great deal to Osprey, and is the start of what I am sure will be a very exciting period in our history. Allied to our newly developed Noise Assessment capability, this now marks us out as one of the few companies that can deliver an Airspace Change Proposal entirely from internal resource. This internal capability will lead to shortened communication lines, a better understanding of client requirements, a faster response time (or process time) and a consequent reduction in cost for the client.”
Liam, Sam and Chris will be based from our new Northallerton office.
