Recently, Mr Karl McCartney MP visited Osprey CSL at The Think Tank in Lincoln to learn more about the company, our contribution to the local Lincolnshire area and the reasons behind our prestigious award win for ‘Best Small Business’ at the Lincolnshire Media Business Awards.
During the visit Mr McCartney discovered how Osprey started out as a small niche safety company and has since grown into one of the UK’s leading aviation consultancies. He also spoke with the Osprey team that are delivering some major aviation projects in the area including MARSHALL, the £1.5 billion defence programme that will transform UK Military Air Traffic Management.
Jon Arden, Managing Director at Osprey CSL said: “Over the past 18 months, we’ve taken great strides to diversify our business to branch out into new markets. We will also celebrate our 10 year anniversary later this year, so it’s a fantastic time for Mr McCartney to visit us and hear about our journey. As a young and vibrant company, we are fully committed to supporting the local Lincolnshire community as we embark on the next stage of our growth.”
Following the visit, Mr McCartney added: “Osprey are exactly the type of go-ahead innovative company that clearly shows Lincoln has become one of the best Cities in Britain to set up a business in and then see it succeed. The fact their focus is at the forefront of a sector where this Country leads the way, as well as supporting local jobs, is more proof of the value they are bringing to the City of Lincoln. Having seen their work, it is no surprise they won such a prestigious award and have a bright future ahead of them.”
