We are delighted to welcome Gareth Maggs to Osprey as our new Finance Apprentice. His main duties will be to provide support to both the finance and administration teams within the company.
Gareth will be studying to gain his AAT Level 2 and 3 whilst learning all aspects of Osprey’s finance function. Gareth completed a Business Extended Diploma at college in March 2020 with 3 Distinctions. After completing two modules in Finance and Accounting, he soon realised this is where he wanted his career to head.
Whilst studying in Basingstoke, Gareth worked for Morrisons supermarket, and he progressed to a Team Leader. Gareth is excited to begin his career in finance and accounting, he looks forward to studying and learning whilst being a part of Osprey’s finance team.
Finance Director, Alice Thurlow, said: “Due to the success of our previous financial apprenticeships, we had absolutely no hesitation in going down the apprenticeship route once again. I’m sure Gareth will fit in well and will be a great addition to the finance team.”
Gareth will be based at our Farnborough office.
