Scroll

We are delighted to welcome Craig Blackwell to Osprey. Craig is a highly experienced Safety Engineer and brings a wealth of experience in delivering complex projects and systems in both Air and Land including Air Traffic Management, Battlespace Management and C4iSTAR domains.

Craig joins us from the Royal Air Force where he has been providing Specialist Engineering and Safety Support to the MOD for over 20 years; prior to commissioning into the RAF Craig was a REME Artificer providing Engineering management, support and training to a diverse range of Land equipment.

Most recently he was the lead military safety stakeholder on the £1.5 billion Marshall ATM Programme with responsibility for reviewing and analysing safety reports and evidence. He also provided technical advice on safety management processes and safety case development for in-service and newly procured cutting edge equipment.

In addition, Craig was accountable for reviewing and implementing all safety regulations for Marshall, including European, Civil and Military Aviation (MAA) Regulations and relevant Defence Standards including 00-56 and 00-972 to provide sound safety arguments.

Jon Arden, Managing Director at Osprey said “Craig will be a fantastic asset to Osprey. His technical knowledge and regulatory experience in both civil and military environments will allow him to add immediate value to a number of important projects.”

Craig will be based out of our Bristol office.
