Barnaby joins us as a Consultant in our Platforms and Systems Team following 2 years with QinetiQ as a Safety Engineer.
Barnaby is a Safety Practitioner with primary experience in the military air domain. He has provided support to the FAST DT across multiple elements of their Safety Management System including Safety Assessment Reports, Hazard Logs, Business Procedures and Occurrence Reporting, all with regular use of the MRP and use of safety tools such as ASCE and Bowtie XP. He has also provided certification support for Typhoon for compliance against Def Stan 00-970.
Barnaby also provided hazard identification and classification workshops as part of a core team facilitating multiple sessions for UKMFTS DT for their Hawk T Mk1 aircraft. This provided assurance to their existing DT hazards in addition to identifying deltas of potential safety concerns which had not been considered.
