The MOD’s Strategic Transport & Air to Air Refuelling (STAAR) Project Team has extended our contract by a further year to undertake Safety Assessment support on the RAF Voyager aircraft.
The role of the Platform Safety Assessment contractor is to provide SME support for the continued development and supporting additional capability through update of the body of evidence that underpins the safety of the platform and the service provision in a compelling, robust and succinct safety argument. The Safety Assessment is managed and presented in a Goal Structured Notation (GSN) format in the ASCETM tool with the output presented as a Safety Assessment Report.
Our work will ultimately help to ensure that the RAF Voyager aircraft can demonstrate it is airworthy and fit for deployment.
