The shortlist is out for the BusinessGreen Leaders Awards 2015, the largest and most prestigious green business awards in the UK. Osprey is extremely proud to be a finalist in the ‘Small Business of the Year’ category.
Sandy Ingamells, Senior Consultant at Osprey said: “The words ‘aviation’ and ‘green’ are not typically used synonymously, and the connection may not necessarily be immediately apparent. However, Osprey strives to make a valuable contribution to ensure that aviation continues to become a much ‘Greener’ activity.
For example, over the last 9 years, we have assisted over 700 wind farms address their issues on aviation, and in 2014 alone we were proud to see 6,200 MW of our wind farm projects gain planning consent, which would generate enough green electricity to power 3.5 million homes per year. I truly believe that our highly skilled team punches above its weight with tangible ‘green’ credentials developed within an industry that is not usually associated with environment enhancing attributes.”
So please keep your fingers crossed for the Awards Dinner on Wednesday 1st July when hopefully Osprey will pick up the ‘Small Business of the Year’ award.
