Osprey has won a new contract with MAG (Manchester Airports Group) to undertake Instrument Flight Procedure (IFP) Maintenance and Safeguarding Reviews in accordance with CAA regulation CAP 785 at MAG’s three UK airports; Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands.
In accordance with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations, all flight procedures are required to be reviewed and assessed on a 5-yearly basis against the latest aerodrome and obstacle survey for each airport.
Osprey will also carry out impact assessments of permanent development & temporary obstacles against current and future IFPs.
Richie Hinchcliffe, Instrument Flight Procedure Design Team Leader at Osprey said “We’re delighted to be working with MAG and will work closely with their respective airport teams to review the existing published IFPs to ensure that they are meeting both current and future needs. Our aim is to ensure that the published IFPs offer the best and most effective solutions that are safe for airports, their neighbours and end users.”
