As 2021 draws to a close, I’m thrilled to announce that Osprey has reached another important milestone – 15 years in business! Throughout December, we will celebrate this fantastic achievement and I would like to thank everyone that has been part of that journey.
What began as a small company in 2006 with just 5 founding members, has grown to be a leading aviation consultancy employing more than 45 staff across 4 offices. Despite an extremely challenging year for our industry, we are on track to deliver another strong commercial performance which includes growth into new and exciting areas.
Such growth comes from the expertise, commitment and drive of our staff, the excellent relationships we have with our clients and the diversity in our offering. We have also established new capability areas including Advanced Air Mobility, Space and Green Technologies, adding solar energy and hybrid propulsion capabilities to our extensive knowledge of the renewable energy sector.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank and acknowledge all of our staff, clients, associates and allies past and present. Your commitment, support and feedback over the years has encouraged us to move forward, think differently and constantly push ourselves to remain aligned to your needs. Right from the outset we have been privileged to work with some of the best clients and industry experts in the business; thanks to you, we enjoy what we do.
I cannot let this anniversary pass without paying tribute to our founders; Jon Arden and Peter Giles. They will be pleased to see that we still constantly strive to do things ‘the Osprey way’; looking after our people and our clients, and doing the right thing, not just the easiest thing.
To celebrate our 15th anniversary, we will be launching a number of activities throughout December based around the key themes of ‘Celebrating our People – Celebrating our Clients – Celebrating our Community and Environment’.
