We are delighted to welcome Connel Jones to Osprey as our new Assistant Accountant Apprentice. He will be studying to gain his AAT Level 3 qualification whilst being involved in all aspects of finance for Osprey.
Connel has a degree in Business with Accounting from the University of Hull, graduating in 2016. He is originally from Scunthorpe but now lives close to our Farnborough office, spending the last couple of years working for Lynx Golf in Weybridge as an Operations Assistant. Connel is now very keen to kick start his finance and accountancy career.
Finance Director, Alice Thurlow, said: “Due to the success of our previous apprentice, we had absolutely no hesitation in going down the apprenticeship route once again. There are so many talented young people looking for a more hands-on approach to their learning, and that is exactly what we have to offer.”
Connel replaces our first ever apprentice, Molly Thomas, who recently left Osprey to begin a fast track programme at Nottingham University to become a Chartered Accountant.
Connel will be based at our Farnborough office.
