We are delighted to welcome Mark Wakeman to Osprey, who joins us as a Principal Consultant in our Airports & Airspace Team. Mark brings a wealth of valuable experience, from fast jet operations and management consultancy to airspace management and regulation. Such diverse skills reflect the breadth of projects that Osprey are now undertaking.
Prior to joining, Mark was a CAA Airspace Regulator responsible for airspace changes and the implementation of airspace and safeguarding regulations together with the co-ordination of special events such as military and civilian air shows, large ceremonial events and fly-pasts. He also has extensive operational experience from the management and analysis of complex technical system and aircraft trials.
In addition to his extensive aviation background, Mark has experience in management consultancy, helping to transform the NHS through the practical application of lean process and methodologies and playing an active role in the re-organisation of the CAA.

He’s had such an impressive career including 32 years in the Royal Air Force as a fast-jet navigator, a qualified weapons instructor and most recently his senior regulatory and airspace management roles at the CAA. His diverse experience and extensive insight into a number of specific aviation and airspace management areas will add immediate value to the team and to our clients.”
Mark will be based in our Lincoln office.
