At Osprey, we actively seek regular feedback from our clients so we can measure ourselves and continue to make improvements to our business. Here are just a few recent snippets of what our clients and industry experts have said about us:
During the recent Airport Operators Association (AOA) Conference in 2016 we won the award for ‘Best Consultancy’. The judging panel specially acknowledged Osprey’s contribution to the airport market “for demonstrating the great operations benefit to airports based on multi-agency working to develop solutions, freeing up staff and protecting airports long-term.”
An example of our Airport work is described below, where we played a key role in delivering Advanced Air Traffic Control equipment at Leeds Bradford Airport:
“The successful delivery of this significant ATC project would not have been possible were it not for the support of Osprey CSL and I’d like to thank them for their work. Working closely with our project team, they helped to take an aspiration and turn it into a viable project that could be delivered within time and on budget. We have worked with Osprey before and I’m pleased with their technical knowledge and willingness to further enhance the technical excellence already present within our airport in order to form the most effective delivery team possible.” Head of Air Traffic Control Services, Leeds Bradford Airport
Our work in new and emerging areas such as Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) has been received extremely positively by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA):
“At short notice Osprey picked up and delivered, to the CAA, an extremely well researched piece of UAS analysis with a number of recommendations that we can take forward into delivery. The work is high risk and will inform political decision making in the UK and set a precedent across the world. The work they have delivered to date has met the agreed scope and quality. They have delivered to the timeframe and within the cost agreed without the need to direct or oversee the detail, which was extremely important especially when one of the reasons for the commercial arrangement with Osprey was due to internal resource constraints. The review and report they have completed will feed directly into UK Government policy as well as influence European and International policy direction for RPAS.” Civil Aviation Authority
Our Defence work has also been acknowledged by the IET. Over the summer, we were recognised jointly with our client, the A400M ATLAS Team at the UK MOD, for demonstrating ‘Innovation in Safety’ on the A400M programme.
Air Cdre Stephen Wilcock, Head of the A400M Programme at DE&S said “This award is recognition of an outstanding and extensive piece of work that has set some firm foundations for the A400M programme. It is also a great example of the collaborative effort between the A400M PT and Industry to deliver technical excellence that has ultimately helped to ensure that the A400M programme has stayed on track to deliver key user requirements and planned capability milestones.”
And finally, here’s one of our favourite client quotes from a recent site visit: “The thing I like most about Osprey is when your consultants are on site, it’s like an extension of my own team. They fit right in, have a joke, then get down to work and we’re always better for them having been here.”
To us, that’s Osprey in a nutshell! We are growing at pace and each and every time we expand our team, it is increasingly important to recruit new people that are not only very capable and experienced, but also a good cultural fit. The challenge for us going forward is not to lose sight of that!
