Join us at the annual Safety Critical Systems Symposium on 2-4th February 2016 at The Grand Hotel in Brighton. The symposium brings together engineers and specialists from a range of disciplines working on safety-critical systems across a wide variety of industries.
Nick Durston, Senior Consultant will present our paper ‘The challenges facing an autonomous car’s risk assessment’ on Day two of the conference proceedings.
Our paper will explore some of the potential challenges facing the introduction of autonomous cars, especially in the absence of a clear definition of what an autonomous system actually is. Given that the automotive industry is currently transitioning to position itself to introduce autonomous cars to the global market, we will also discuss autonomy from the standpoints of the aerospace and automotive industries, focusing on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and autonomous cars.
Full details of the symposium can be found here.
