Compliance Monitoring
EU regulation (Commission Regulation (EU) No. 139/2014) requires that aerodrome operators have a Compliance Monitoring System (CMS) in place and requires that “the aerodrome management system shall include a formal system to monitor compliance of the organisation with the relevant requirements.”
Osprey are able to offer an end-to-end service to meet the regulatory requirements. Not only can we create a suitable CMS, blending your organisation’s structure to manage the process, but we can also provide audits across all areas of your operation. We pride ourselves on understanding our clients’ needs in terms of their own unique structure and processes and the expectations of other key stakeholders, including the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) who, in turn, also needs to be satisfied.
Our experience is wide ranging and includes the auditing of aerodrome operations. We believe our technical skills and experience will make a positive, practical and effective contribution bringing real benefit to the accountable manager and your organisation. Our capability and commitment will ensure that we can support your current needs, assist the management of your compliance requirements, and much more beyond the CAA’s baseline and its oversight obligations.
Regulatory Compliance
In the UK, most systems and services where “Safety of Life” is a concern are subject to Statutory Regulation. The applicable regulations require that the design, development and operational use of these systems are subject to a formal Safety Management Environment, typically featuring a Safety Management System (SMS) and the provision of Safety Cases (SC).
Within the Aviation Domain, we are familiar with the regulatory requirements of the main Regulatory Authorities including:
- European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)
- UK and Irish Aviation Authority (IAA)
- Wider European Civil Aviation Authorities
- Military Aviation Authority (MAA)
- Federal Aviation Authority (FAA)
We can support you in the following areas:
- Regulatory Road mapping
- Development of SMS
- System Verification and Validation
- Development of SCs
- Conduct of Safety Audits
- Safety Investigations
