Another new starter for Osprey this week! A very warm welcome to David Marshall who joins us as a Senior Consultant in our Airports & Airspace Team. David is a highly experienced Air Traffic Controller (ATC) who has held both Civil and Military ATC licences including Aerodrome, Approach and Area functions in varying classifications of airspace.
Prior to joining Osprey, David worked for NATS where he was one of the very few ATCO’s to have held unit endorsements at both London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports. As a result, he is a safety driven but commercially aware individual, who strives to achieve maximum runway efficiency at capacity constrained airports.
David has worked for customers in the Far East, including ANSPs and Airport Authorities at Singapore Changi, Hong Kong and Delhi International Airports. He is familiar with the latest digital tower technology having been part of the team that recently delivered the Smart Tower Prototype to CAAS at Singapore Changi Airport with specific responsibility for engagement and training.
David also served in the Royal Air Force for 15 years as an Air Traffic Controller providing aerodrome and radar services at RAF Linton-on-Ouse and middle and upper area radar services at RAF Prestwick.
In recent months, he has been volunteering for the NHS as Head Vaccine Marshal at his local vaccination hub in the South Downs town of Midhurst in West Sussex, where other volunteers included actor Hugh Bonneville.

David will be based at our Farnborough office.
